A low pressure system moved east off the Rockies this afternoon, 
bringing showers and storms across western and south central 
Kansas. Afternoon temperatures ranged from the upper 40s across 
western Kansas, to the upper 60s across eastern Kansas. Winds were 
out of the southeast at 10 to 20 mph, with gusts up to or near 25 
mph.

Tonight, the low pressure system will move south and east across 
northern Texas, continuing to bring showers and storms across 
western and southern Kansas, northern and central Oklahoma, and 
southwestern Nebraska. Overnight temperatures are forecast to drop down 
to the middle to upper 30s across Nebraska, to the upper 40s across 
eastern Oklahoma. Winds will be out of the east to southeast at 5 to 
15 mph.

Wednesday looks to stay active across the Central Plains, bringing 
showers and storms for much of Oklahoma, southwest and south 
central Kansas, and eastern Colorado. High temperatures will range
from the upper 40s to the middle 60s across the Central 
Plains. Winds will mainly be out of the east at 10 to 20 mph, with 
gusts of 25 to 30 mph.
